Ensemble Nikel performs *Bright Darkness* by Klaus Lang
Nikel is presenting its first open-air concert in Bern’s Rosengarten. As the sun sets, the ensemble will perform *Bright Darkness* by Klaus Lang.
This atmospheric one-hour piece of music constantly evolves through a succession of minute changes. The perception of time and timbre becomes a vivid experience.
In this special setting, Nikel will present in his home town one of the most frequently performed works from its repertoire to its audience and passers-by. The concert takes place as part of the Bern-based ensemble’s 20th-anniversary celebrations.

Concert starts: 6:30 pm (approx. 60 minutes)
Admission: free, donations welcome
In the event of bad weather, the concert will be postponed to the following day, 18 September. We will take the decision the day before and communicate it accordingly.
