“Graveyard Slot (w. guest appearance)” by Australian composer Matthew Shlomowitz, was written especially for Nikel and described by the composer as: “A Telethon styled variety show – with numbers, sketches, guest appearances and house band – in the early morning hours, a time of little importance to advertisers.” Recorded in Bern, in late 2022, “Graveyard Slot (w. guest appearance)” is one of the first pieces of a long term project we’re immersed in: a new boxset marking the ensemble’s 20th anniversary.  This new single is then an invitation for a first peek into what we’re working on and what’s in the oven for us and our audience. Boxset release is due for late 2026.
